Job Opening: CSPI Seeks Senior Nutrition Policy Manager

 

The Center for Science for Public Interest is looking for a qualified candidate to advocate for improved nutrition and obesity policies.

The Senior Nutrition Policy Manager also will encourage the food industry to improve their products and practices and engage with a range of professionals to support nutrition policy.

Essential duties and responsibilities include lobbying policymakers, building coalitions and organizing grassroots support; managing nutrition projects; conducing policy research and writing related materials; developing and maintaining relationships with health professionals, university faculty, organizations and concerned citizens; and representing CSPI at events such as conferences.

Qualifications include a doctoral or master’s degree in health, policy or nutrition, plus at least seven years of professional policy experience, or a bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of experience.
