Shake Down

As most East Coasters felt (and the rest of the country heard about) a 5.8 earthquake struck outside of Richmond, Va., on Tuesday, sending shockwaves up and down the Eastern seaboard.

Fortunately, no deaths and only minor damage were reported (and the only damage we suffered here at PreventObesity.net headquarters was a broken bottle of hot sauce). In fact, the tremor mostly led to a lot of poorly-written jokes posted on social media websites like Twitter.
But unfortunately, the quake struck right as PreventObesity.net was about to begin our webinar, “Physical Activity in Communities and Schools: The Impact on Latino Children and Youth.”

Yes, the same webinar we’ve been promoting in The Inside Track for weeks now.

But have no fear! The webinar, which we are co-hosting with our friends at the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF) and the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), will be rescheduled and we'll announce the new date as soon as possible.

Unless there's an aftershock, that is.
