First Lady Michelle Obama has never shied away from playtime.

As part of her efforts to reduce childhood obesity through her Let’s Move campaign, Obama is frequently seen hula-hooping on the White House lawn. Now, she’s jumping rope.

Obama will take part in Nickelodeon’s “Worldwide Day of Play” at the White House on Sept. 24, working alongside the kiddie cable network’s efforts to urge kids to get active. The day of play promotes the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition’s PALA Challenge, which pushes kids to be physically active for 60 minutes a day, five days a week for at least six out of eight weeks.

Along with activities at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Nickelodeon will hold events on the National Mall, and cast members from many of their shows will be on hand.

But as the name entails, it’s a worldwide day of play. We’re interested to find out what PreventObesity.net Leaders like you are doing to celebrate. Are you going to go for a run? Climb the jungle gym at your local playground? Dance the Dougie like Obama did earlier this year?
