What inspired you to start working on childhood obesity?

As a nutrition activist, I believe that health and nutrition are essential to living a quality life. We may take it for granted but unfortunately not everyone has the knowledge or access to healthy foods, which is one of the leading causes of childhood obesity. I am inspired to join the movement against childhood obesity because I know that by simply taking action and educating children we can create positive change and eliminate childhood obesity.

How are you helping to reverse childhood obesity?

I am a wellness partner in the community. My role is to teach and educate families about health and nutrition so that they can make healthier decisions in schools and at home. My goal is for children to learn healthy habits to ultimately live a healthier lifestyle.

What’s your biggest accomplishment so far in helping reduce childhood obesity?

Starting a business (h.u.m.a.n. helping unite mankind and nutrition) solely focused on promoting healthy food and giving back is my biggest accomplishment. I use 100% healthy food automated retail units and educational events to eliminate junk food and reduce childhood obesity.

Who is your role model in your work?

My role model is Michelle Obama because she is a passionate leader that is challenging America to change and fight childhood obesity.

What healthy snacks did you enjoy growing up?

My favorite healthy snack growing up was and still is string cheese!
