HeartofmyState.pngOn Tuesday, the American Heart Association released a report called “Cardiovascular Disease:  A Costly Burden for America.” The report makes prevalence and cost projections for Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) from now through 2035. This new research updates similar projections made by the AHA in 2011.  It also shows that nearly half of the US population will suffer from CVD by 2035, with costs projected to exceed $1 trillion. Join the #HeartOfMyState campaign today to encourage supporting heart and stroke research.
