Webinar: We're Better Together

It’s no secret that when health advocates work together across local, state and national lines, they achieve change more effectively.  Online resources can help them come together — but with so many different resources out there, which are the most useful?

That’s what PreventObesity.net will aim to answer when we host a free webinar on July 17 titled “What’s Working in Collaboration for Community Health.” Slated to start at 2 p.m. Eastern, the hour-long event will look at how organizations are collaborating on local, state and national levels to improve health.

Speakers will provide examples of how they have collaborated on successful advocacy efforts and offer perspectives from their own work. Scheduled speakers include Ingrid Morris from NC Prevention Partners, Shawn Kelsch from Reduce Obesity in Central Florida Kids (ROCK), Taslim van Hattum from the Louisiana Public Health Institute and PreventObesity.net’s own Rebecca Frank. Monte Roulier from Community Initiatives will moderate.
