Healthy Parks and Places Manager
The Healthy Parks and Places Manager is responsible for advancing the Safe Routes to Parks Activating Communities program at the local and national level through technical assistance, resource development, program management, outreach and communications. In addition to helping to develop the emerging area of Safe Routes to Parks, this position will also provide technical assistance to a variety of communities through other contracts and grants, address questions and needs from the field, advance concrete equity commitments in the field of active transportation, develop publications, webinars, and other resources, and contribute to communication efforts. The salary range is $60,000 – $70,000 and successful candidates will work from their home office, based anywhere in the United States. 
 
Communications and Marketing Manager
The Communications and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the communications and marketing objectives of the National Partnership. This position reports to the Executive Director and executes all online marketing tools including websites, e-newsletters, and social media as well as assists with creating and editing publications and resources. Responsibilities also include implementation of online messaging best practices of tracking and segmentation, assisting with all types of external communications, and meeting strategic objectives related to assigned programs of the organization with specific communications and marketing deliverables. The salary range is $55,000 – $65,000 and successful candidates will work from their home office, based anywhere in the United States.
 
California Field Services Manager
The Field Services Manager is part of the Program and Policy Department’s consulting team, providing technical assistance to communities through contracts and grants. Work includes developing factsheets and other written resources that help advance the field; providing workshops and assistance to communities throughout California that are looking to advance their Safe Routes to School programs; and conducting research projects into emerging issues in active transportation. In addition, the Field Services Manager assists in responding to requests for proposals and in developing leads and relationships that result in consulting contracts. The salary range is $55,000 – $65,000 and successful candidates will work from their home office, based anywhere in California.
 
DC Community Engagement Manager
The DC Community Engagement Manager will be responsible for implementing a one-year community safety and engagement project in Wards 7 and 8 of Washington, DC. The project will leverage five school communities as hubs for community-focused traffic safety education and activities. Activities include engaging community members and school officials; developing trainings and resources on safe walking, biking, and driving; holding community traffic safety events; and conducting surveys and walk audits to identify needed safety improvements around each of the five schools. We are seeking a candidate with deep knowledge of DC’s Wards 7 and 8 and a commitment to community-centered engagement. This is a one-year position, and the salary range is $50,000 – $55,000. Successful candidates will work from their home office, based in Washington, DC.
