Job Opening: ChildObesity 180 Offers Graduate Student Internships

ChildObesity180, the Tufts University-based organization dedicated to facilitating cross-sector collaboration in order to reverse childhood obesity, is seeking graduate students for its summer internship program.

Two full-time internships are available. One position is for the Healthy Kids Out of School initiative, which works to improve nutrition and increase time for physical activity in after-school and other out-of-school programs. The intern would serve as a content specialist, creating and editing content for the initiative’s soon-to-be-launched website and providing staff and volunteers with resources.

The second position is to assist the ChildObesity180 team on a research and evaluation framework. The intern would work with the organization’s research team to synthesize and analyze qualitative data to better understand the impact of ChildObesity180’s work.

Applicants must be enrolled or recently have completed a graduate program in nutrition, public health or a related field. Familiarity with Microsoft Office also is required.

Applications are due by March 6. Click here to find more information and to apply.
