The CDC has launched a new resource website aimed at healthier lifestyles and healthier schools.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has launched their new Healthy Schools website. This website is a resource base and houses their information for nutrition environment, physical activity, obesity prevention, and management of chronic conditions. It also contains information about health and academics, school health guidelines, local school wellness policies, parent engagement, data and statistics, tools and training, and school resources. The website has information to help teachers, parents, and students learn how to create a healthier school environment, has continuing education credits available, and links to their Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) collaboration.
