Support Growing for Safe Routes to School Campaign

We are grateful for the more than 4,400 of you who have let your transportation leaders know that Safe Routes to School programs are a priority.

“Without adequate sidewalks, crosswalks and bike lanes, parents have been forced to find other ways for their children to get to school,” explained Carter Headrick, director of state and local obesity policy initiatives at the American Heart Association, in his latest email to PreventObesity.net Leaders. “I think all kids and families should have the same opportunities that kids in my neighborhood have. But unfortunately, many don’t get that chance.”

Together, we can make a difference in thousands of children’s lives. If you haven’t already, please take action today!
