As someone dedicated to preventing obesity, you may be familiar with "F as in Fat," an annual report that has become a key tool for advocates in the field. For the past seven years, it has tracked obesity rates and policy action on a state-by-state basis. So what will the report show this year? is offering our leaders the chance to be among the first to find out.

A collaboration between Trust for America’s Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, "F as in Fat: How Obesity Threatens America’s Future" looks at obesity rates in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The authors break down the statistics by race, ethnicity, region and income, providing an in-depth look at how obesity is affecting our country.

The report also recommends policy strategies that could help to reverse the epidemic — helpful fodder for you and your fellow leaders on the ground.
