ChildcareAwarestatefactsheets.PNGChild Care Aware® of America, recently updated the State Fact Sheets 2017 to reflect the most recent information for each state regarding child care. The factors highlighted in the fact sheets includes the availability and quality of child care, the types of child care available, and the cost of child care. The information in the fact sheets is meant to inform those working to ensure high quality child care on the current status of their state’s child care landscape and facts about current initiatives.

This resource provides an opportunity to check in on the current efforts of the state and see if there are other areas that can be advocated or campaigned for as well. The fact sheets also give a chance for a discussion on any areas of success compared to previous years and areas where states may be experiencing push back.
