Celebrating Five Years of Berkeley's Soda Tax

In 2014, Berkeley, California became the first city in the U.S. to implement a tax on sugary drinks, with 76% of voters approving of the ballot measure. In celebration of the fifth anniversary of the ballot measure, the Praxis Project (a member of the Voices for Healthy Kids Strategic Advisory Committee) released a video that shows the city's investments from the tax. The video also presents the grounded stories of the impact that this funding is having at the community level.
