Call for Applications: Advancing Systemic Changes to Promote Healthy School Environments

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is launching an effort to help make healthy school environments the norm, and are currently seeking applications from organizations that will help advance the changes needed to achieve this goal.

RWJFCallforApplications.jpegThe call for qualifications that support healthy school environments is focusing on three areas: research, policy and strategic action. Each of these areas will have at least one grant awarded. All submissions are due November 30, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. ET. The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation expects to award $9.5 million for these awards:

  • Applied Research and Translation: One to two awards of up to $1.5 million total in grant funding over a two-year period (July 2017–July 2019).
  • Policy Analysis and Development: One to two awards of up to $2 million total in grant funding over a two-year period (July 2017–July 2019).
  • Strategic Action and Alignment: One award of up to $6 million total to a lead organization with core partners.
