Just in time for the holidays, the American Heart Association is offering an interactive, online collection of simple, heart-healthy recipes in English and Spanish.

There are more than 350 recipes and 100 easy-to-follow videos on the hub.

The hub features nutritional information and as well as tools to create personal profiles, build customized recipes, sort and rate recipes, and share tips and recipes via social media.

“The American Heart Association’s new recipe hub is a great asset for every type of chef, keeping meal preparation simple, quick and affordable,” said Hamlet Garcia, a celebrity chef who is also a volunteer for the AHAs Go Red For Women awareness campaign.

The hub is part of the AHA’s campaign, +color, designed to help people make smarter, healthier eating choices that include more colorful fruits and vegetables. Studies show that more color in the diet can reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke and other illnesses.
