Going to APHA 2013? Meet the Voices for Healthy Kids Team

You’re invited! Voices for Healthy Kids, the new advocacy collaboration between the American Heart Association and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, will be at the 2013 American Public Health Association meeting in Boston, from Nov. 2 to 6. Our team is working to engage, organize and mobilize people to improve the health of their communities and reverse the childhood obesity epidemic — and we want to meet you!

There will be multiple opportunities to connect with us during the conference:

  • Stop by the Voices for Healthy Kids Reception on Monday, Nov. 4 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Eastern in room 258C at the Boston Convention Center. Mix and mingle with experts within the childhood obesity community and learn how you can join Voices for Healthy Kids movement! To RSVP to the event, please send an email to [email protected]. Attendees are welcome to bring guests.
  • Visit Voices for Healthy Kids at booth No. 810 during exhibit hours Sunday through Wednesday. Meet the team and find great resources on reducing childhood obesity.
  • Can’t make it to the conference but want to follow all the action? We’ll be live-tweeting at @Voices4HK, so follow along for updates and news from APHA 2013.
